- The King Cobra's natural habitat is in the Tropical Forests of India, and Southeast Asia. The King Cobra lives in dense highland forests. The low floor and compiled leafs disguises the King Cobra into its surroundings naturally. The thick scales of the King Cobra adapt well with the sharp rocks and heat of the cold rainforest. Even with this disguise, many animals are able to sense the King Cobra's presence, and steer clear. The King Cobra's main hiding spot is up in the thick nest of branches and leaves in the trees. When the King spots its prey, it either slithers down, or falls down if the ground is near. These huge forests provide an abundance of food for the tertiary creature. The King Cobra prefers these forest due to the abundance of rats and other small animals. It is not that the King Cobra likes the rats, but it eats the rats namesake predator the Indian Rat Snake. The other animals that it eats are all in the forest in easily accessible locations for the King Cobra. It is usually 95° Farenheit.
