Ophiophagus hannah, or simply know as the King Cobra, is one of the most fascinating yet deadly creatures in the rainforest. The King Cobra averages a length of 3-4 meters (9.8,13.1feet). It is the longest elapid in the world. The weight of the King Cobra is usually 6kg(13 pounds), which is surprising for its huge size and length. Despite their large and thick appearance, the King Cobra is one of the fastest snakes in the world. It's head is very large and bulky to support the universal snake ability to expand their jaw and body to swallow large prey. Though it's venom is highly lethal, some animals have immunity to it, such as the famed mongoose, which is revered to be able to kill a King Cobra in a fight. The King Cobra reproduces with 29-40 eggs per catch. She acts like an incubator till they come about. When they hatch, the King Cobra babies are already great hunters, and have a lot of venom, but can't control it all the times.
